What if I forgot my username and/or password?
If you forget either your username or password, please go to the login page and follow the simple directions.

How do I change my email/password?
Please login and go to your account page. Click on the appropriate link to perform your changes.

How do I join and create my profile?
To join as a member of ahnline all you need is a valid email address and a couple of minutes. Just click on register and follow the easy directions provided.

How do I update my profile?
Please login and click on your account. Click on the view your profile link. You will then be given the option to update all or any part of your profile.

Why doesn't my profile show up in a search?
Your profile may not show up for two different reasons. Please check to see if you have hidden your profile from other members in your account page. It is also possible that your membership may still be pending approval. This process usually takes 24 -48 hours. If you are still having difficulty please contact us.

How do I permanently remove my profile from the ahnline database?
If you want to permanently remove your profile please login into your account and click on cancel my account/subscription. Then follow the instructions.

What happens to my profile if I cancel my subscription?
Nothing. Your profile will remain the same as it was prior to your subscription.

What happens to my account if I cancel my profile?
Your profile will automatically be hidden from other members after completing the cancellation process. After thirty days it will be permanently deleted. You may reactivate your profile by taking it off hidden status within the thirty days.

Why should I add a photo?
Adding a photo will greatly increase your chance of getting noticed by other members and that's exactly what you want!

What types of photos are not acceptable?
Photos that are offensive in nature, copyrighted material and cartoons/Anime will not be accepted. You must also be in the photo. We have the right to refuse any photo that does not fall under these guidelines.

How do I post my photo?
Go to your profile page and select the update photo option. Use the browse feature on your computer to find your photo and then press the upload button to post it. If you're still having trouble please contact us.

How does the email process work?
All emails and sparks are sent to a member's personal email address via ahnline.com as to ensure the privacy on both sides. Please go to our privacy policy for full details.

Will other members see my email address?
Other members of ahnline.com will never see your personal email address as per our privacy policy.

What is starting a spark?
Starting a spark is free and easy way to let other members know that you have an interest in them. All you have to do is select a one of the messages provided and it is sent to their email. The member will receive the spark along with your username so they can check out your profile as well. If they like what they see and read they can respond back to you with either a spark or with an email.

What happens when I receive an email or a spark?
When you receive an email or a spark from another member it is up to you whether you want to respond to them. You are not obligated in any way to do so. However, if you do have an interest in them, you will be given the option to respond back to them with either your own spark or email.

What is a search?
A search will allow you to find other members in our database. You can select your preferences and the characteristics that you are looking for in another member, and our software will search out those members fitting your criteria.

How do I search for members?
You can search for other members either by using the quick search, username search, deep search or Match Maker search.

What is the Match Maker?
The Match Maker lets you input your own personal information including some keywords and will then perform a reverse search in the database for members that are looking for people just like you! The match maker can also be used to help you find members for your friends as well.

Do I have to pay to become a member?
Membership is absolutely free. Just register with ahnline.com and become a member to use most of our features. It only takes a few moments.

What are the subscription costs?
During our beta we are currently offering all features for free. Advance notice will be given to all registered members when it is over.

How can I pay for a subscription?
When the beta is over, subscription fees can be paid by American Express, Visa or MasterCard. Checks and money orders will not be accepted.

What subscription packages do you offer?
Although we will offer other subscription options in the future, initially we will offer a standard monthly fee only.

Will my subscription automatically renew each month?
Your credit card will be charged immediately for your subscription. When your initial subscription period expires, we will automatically renew your subscription each month unless you cancel your ahnline.com subscription or change your subscription package prior to that date.

How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription please go to your account page and click on cancel my subscription. Billing will immediately stop upon receipt of your notification but your service will stay effective until the end of the current paid period.

What if I want to cancel in the middle of my subscription?
You may cancel at anytime, however, we do not pro-rate our subscriptions. Your subscription and all features will remain active throughout the remainder of the subscription period.

What is the hot list?
The hot list is your own private list of members that you have a particular interest in.

What is the block list?
The block list allows you to block any member from contacting you. You may contact blocked members but they cannot respond unless you unblock them.
